Positions currently available:
Technical Sales Representative
Seeking self-motivated individuals with proven track records in technical tele-sales. Ideal candidates are graduates of an electronics engineering/technologist or technical program with two years sales experience involving electronics, software or related technical products. Responsibilities will include prospecting, proposals and quotes, managing, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities. Excellent communication skills are required to serve both existing and prospective customers. Recent graduates may be considered.
Technical Support Representative
Provide technical support to customers via telephone, email and/or fax. Duties will include resolving customer technical problems, investigating circuit behavior, and using the existing knowledge base for logging and tracking customer issues. You are a recent graduate in Electronics Engineering or EET with excellent verbal/ written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to solve problems. In depth knowledge of analog/ digital circuit behavior, exposure to SPICE simulation, familiarity with PCB design, and strong PC experience are required/assets.
Technical Writer
You will write User Guides, Help Files and other customer documentation for our products. As a minimum, an electronics background and/or education is required along with 3 years writing experience. You are well versed in desktop publishing, including PageMaker, help files software and Microsoft Word. You have excellent proof reading skills and are detailed/project oriented. Familiarity with the localization process of documentation would be an asset.
I.T. Systems Administrator
Responsibilities will include maintaining the existing LAN, workstations, website hosting, internal telephony network, and corporate software applications (accounting, contact management, etc). Responsibilities also include running existing reports and developing new reports as required. Proficiency in all Windows operating systems, including 2000, XP, and Vista is required. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science/IT from a recognized college or university, a minimum of 4 years of experience, and Certification as a network administrator.
